Brandyn Burnette’s “State I’m In” EP (turned mini album) is out this weekend, and it’s one of those wait-up-till-midnight-to-get-it kind of releases.
So far Brandyn has unveiled some solid arrangements for the EP, including his potential mega-hit “Underneath” with Win & Woo. Karma is another of my favourites. His premium voice is only one the selling points (did you know he was in American Idol but dropped out to have more control over his music?). I absolutely melt for the soft sax which counterbalances the tumultuously distorted spoken line. Karma is just a shimmering purple feather in a beautiful bird of paradise discography. Enjoy!
